Whether you call them Millennials or Baby Boomlets, Generation Rent or Why, they all have one thing in common: a pretty tough time in the country’s housing market.
OnePoll, commissioned by comparethemarket, put together a survey taking a closer look into ways this struggling generation would consider to save money on living costs.
The survey asked 2,000 25-35 year-olds to find out what alternative forms of accommodation they would consider and what they’d be willing to compromise on in order to save some of their hard earned coin.
From sharing a bed with someone who isn’t “the one” to living in a campervan, Generation Rent seems up to the challenge of making the housing market work for them.
Let’s have a closer look and what makes a whole generation tick and how they think they’ll be able to save enough to one day own their own castle, or at least their own little cottage.
