“Far East Consortium (FEC) is launching its latest Manchester development.
New Cross Central will comprise 80 homes made up of three-bed townhouses and one and two-bed apartments, including a collection of penthouses.
The developer, along with partner BuyAssociation, has sought to give locals the chance to get first pick of the property before it is released to the broader market.
However, due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak and following government advice on social distancing and travel, the pair have restructured the launch to become an online virtual event.
Sam Hadfield, managing director at BuyAssociation: “This development sits in arguably the most emerging district in the city centre. It’s an address that really works for both work and lifestyle and has always been targeted towards local buyers.
“We know from experience that the more affordable properties tend to sell first on launch, and these are the same properties in demand by first-time buyers. With advice and travel recommendations changing daily due to the virus, it seemed sensible to make this event inclusive for local buyers that cannot attend.”
