UK rental market strong for landlords with 7% growth
“New data shows that, after a record-breaking month of rental price growth in July, August offered more of the same for the rental market, albeit at a slightly reduced pace.
The latest report from Goodlord found that average rents for August were £1,438, which is very slightly lower than the £1,470 recorded in July – but rents are now 7% higher than they were 12 months ago in August 2023”…

UK home asking prices rise sharply in September
“Asking prices for UK homes rose at twice their long-term average pace in September, as post-election stability and declining mortgage rates helped to fuel a rebound in buyer demand and draw more sellers to the market.
The average asking price rose to £370,759 in the four weeks to mid-September, up 1 per cent from the previous month, according to data released by the property portal Rightmove on Monday”…
