Last week, the Queen\u2019s Speech confirmed the ban on letting fees announced by the Government during last year\u2019s Autumn Budget. A draft of how this will work is expected to be published later in the year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Organisations across the UK\u2019s property sector have voiced different opinions with regards to the success of the ban<\/a>. Some, like housing charity Shelter, expect the ban to help make the market more fair whilst other, like the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), warned that fees might be passed on to tenants<\/a>.<\/p>\n
