{"id":17771,"date":"2018-06-15T09:45:04","date_gmt":"2018-06-15T08:45:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.buyassociation.co.uk\/?p=17771"},"modified":"2018-06-15T09:45:04","modified_gmt":"2018-06-15T08:45:04","slug":"homes-england-will-begin-to-deliver-new-homes-faster-to-ease-shortage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/zh-hk\/2018\/06\/15\/homes-england-will-begin-to-deliver-new-homes-faster-to-ease-shortage\/","title":{"rendered":"Homes England will begin to deliver new homes faster to ease shortage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>At the end of June, Homes England will launch a procurement initiative intended to support the government\u2019s annual target of 300,000 new homes per annum by the mid-2020s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new\u00a0<em>Multidisciplinary and Technical Services Frameworks<\/em> will provide a wider choice and greater access to professional, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/05\/04\/latest-offering-proptech-grand-designs-at-your-fingertips\/\">design<\/a> and technical services to support Homes England and other public organisations to speed up the delivery of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/06\/07\/new-town-development-corporations-will-help-councils-build-more-homes\/\">new homes<\/a> across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The aim behind the scheme is to have in place an OJEU compliant and slick facility that will promote and encourage strong partnerships and working relationships between service providers with the objective of making more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/06\/08\/housing-shortage-encourages-developers-to-look-further-afield\/\">land ready<\/a> for development and available for purchase.<\/p>\n<h4>\u2018Multidisciplinary Framework\u2019 will be a one-stop shop<\/h4>\n<p>The Multidisciplinary Framework will be set up as a one-stop shop to procure a range of integrated technical and design services from a single source. It will also be linked to a selection of specialist frameworks to meet specific future needs and enable Homes England to communicate with a wider range of companies. These specialist frameworks will consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/06\/13\/people-of-the-uk-support-building-of-more-affordable-housing-locally\/\">regionally<\/a> based frameworks to provide planning, master planning and consultation services to help obtain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/04\/19\/planning-permission-peaks-england-approvals-easier\/\">planning permission<\/a> on Homes England sites. This will enable Homes England\u2019s regional delivery teams to engage directly with consultants with sound regional knowledge and experience.<\/li>\n<li>A project, cost management and development monitoring framework which will support Homes England\u2019s investment activities and also provide more general project and cost management advice aligned to housing development and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/03\/05\/good-places-commission-to-scrutinise-regeneration-areas-north-midlands\/\">regeneration<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Specialist site survey and asbestos frameworks to provide very specific services to enable Homes England to quickly prepare <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/12\/15\/do-we-need-to-build-on-greenbelt-to-meet-housing-targets\/\">brownfield land<\/a> for development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Tried and tested frameworks enter fifth generation<\/h4>\n<p>Homes England\u2019s current Property Framework is valued at \u00a3150m and the Housing Development Framework Delivery Partner Panel 3 (DPP3) at \u00a38bn, with the Multidisciplinary and Technical Frameworks supplementing these existing services.<br \/>\n[crb_image link=&#8221;https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/advice\/property-investment-starter-course\/&#8221; image=&#8221;https:\/\/cdn2.hubspot.net\/hubfs\/1717782\/Asset_Store\/WebCTA\/cta.jpg&#8221; align=&#8221;left&#8221;]<br \/>\nStephen Kinsella, director for land at Homes England, said: &#8220;This will be the fifth generation of our multidisciplinary framework and our biggest yet, demonstrating Homes England\u2019s expanded role in bringing together land and expertise to speed up the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/05\/02\/top-eight-housebuilders-make-big-gains-for-investors\/\">building<\/a> of new homes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We want to create strong working relationships with a wider range of companies who can provide valuable technical advice and design expertise to help accelerate housing development, deliver value for money and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/03\/27\/which-city-knocked-bristol-top-spot-uk-best-place-live\/\">great places to live<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To date more than 300 public bodies have taken advantage of the frameworks.
