The research suggests<\/span><span id=\"E110\">\u00a0that<\/span><span id=\"E111\">,<\/span><span id=\"E112\"> even if the market continues <\/span><span id=\"E113\">to grow at a slow rate of<\/span><span id=\"E114\"> 0.37% a month, the average UK house would still hit \u00a3347,757<\/span><span id=\"E115\"> \u2013 <\/span><span id=\"E116\">an increase of 56% over the next <\/span><span id=\"E117\">decade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E119\"><span id=\"E120\">London has seen a real slowdown in price growth since <\/span><span id=\"E122\">Brexit<\/span><span id=\"E124\"> and so<\/span><span id=\"E125\">,<\/span><span id=\"E126\"> although the capital would <\/span><span id=\"E127\">remain<\/span><span id=\"E128\"> one of the most expensive cities in the UK (along with Oxford)<\/span><span id=\"E129\"> according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/11\/16\/millennials-sandwich-habits-not-to-blame-for-housing-system\/\"><span id=\"E131\">eMoov<\/span><\/a><span id=\"E133\">, it would have seen one of the lowest percentage increases in value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E135\"><span id=\"E136\">Nottingham <\/span><span id=\"E137\">however <\/span><span id=\"E138\">tops\u00a0of the table in terms of monthly prices growth since <\/span><span id=\"E140\">Brexit<\/span><span id=\"E142\">, up 0.80% a month on average meaning the <\/span><span id=\"E145\">average house price would increase 160% from the current \u00a3133,215 to \u00a3346,592 by 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E148\"><span id=\"E149\">\u201cWith latest industry figures indicating an end to the post-<\/span><span id=\"E151\">Brexit<\/span><span id=\"E153\"> market slowdown that has seemingly plagued the market over the last 18 months, many UK homeowners will be breathing a sigh of relief, despite having still enjoyed a notable annual inc<\/span><span id=\"E154\">rease in their property\u2019s value,\u201d commented <\/span><span id=\"E155\">Russell Quirk<\/span><span id=\"E156\">, f<\/span><span id=\"E157\">ounder &amp; CEO<\/span><span id=\"E158\"> of <\/span><span id=\"E159\">eMoov.co.uk<\/span><span id=\"E160\">. \u201c<\/span><span id=\"E161\">Although these recent slower rates of price growth are unlikely to persist going forward, and we are by no means predicting they will, this research demonstrates that the outlook would still be rather positive and far from the apocalyptic prophecy\u2019s many have talked the market down with since the <\/span><span id=\"E163\">Brexit<\/span><span id=\"E165\"> vote.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The rising prices are resulting in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/11\/17\/house-raffles-pay-1-answer-simple-question-win-a-house\/\">changes to the housing market<\/a> in general, with &#8216;Generation Rent&#8217; numbers growing significantly as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/11\/14\/multigenerational-living-the-answer-to-uk-housing-crisis\/\">people must save for longer<\/a> in order to get onto the property ladder.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest research from online estate agent eMoov has revealed that property prices will continue to surge ahead during the next decade.
