This is the first deposit-free service which CBRE has joined in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>CBRE\u2019s residential lettings business operates at the top end of the UK property market, with an average <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2019\/06\/13\/uk-renters-are-expected-to-outnumber-homeowners-by-2039\/\">rental<\/a> value of \u00a31,000 per week, or \u00a34,333 per month, for their rental properties.<\/p>\n<h4>How does it work?<\/h4>\n<p>Instead of paying an expensive upfront <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/12\/04\/tenant-deposits-to-be-cut-to-five-weeks-after-u-turn\/\">deposit<\/a>, CBRE tenants can now opt to join flatfair, increasing mobility by reducing significantly the upfront cost of moving home.<\/p>\n<p>CBRE landlords, who include numerous financial institutions, funds and Family Offices, will benefit from flatfair\u2019s landlord protection and not be limited by the new five to six-week cap on tenancy deposits.<\/p>\n<p>Sharief Ibrahim, director, Residential Agency, CBRE said: \u201cWe are pleased to be able to offer tenants an alternative to providing an up-front deposit, and access to a digitalised deposit and deposit-free registration process through flatfair\u2019s platform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Franz D\u00f6rr, CEO and founder of flatfair, commented: \u201cWe are incredibly proud that CBRE has selected flatfair as their deposit alternative of choice in the UK.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;We strongly believe that our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2019\/07\/22\/phil-spencer-strikes-a-deal-with-gazeal-to-help-prevent-gazumping\/\">technology<\/a> solution offers a safer, more streamlined approach in comparison with the numerous insurance products that have entered the deposit replacement market, and are pleased that CBRE has recognised that.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Payment technology firm flatfair has teamed up with CBRE UK Residential Lettings to offer a deposit alternative solution and help reduce the cost of moving for tenants.
