The average house price in London has reached \u00a3614,000 according to the most recent house price report released by\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Rightmove<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Between January and February<\/span>\u00a0property prices in London increased by<\/span>\u00a03.4 per cent\u00a0<\/span>between January and February<\/span>\u00a02019.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Westminster and Camden prices increase by 5 per cent<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An attractive exchange rate has encouraged more overseas buyers to invest in London\u2019s housing market, finding sensible prices that are too good to ignore.<\/span>\u00a0 In February, boroughs including Westminster and Camden saw property prices go up\u00a0<\/span>by\u00a0<\/span>5 per cent.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

City AM said: \u201c<\/span>The shift away from UK purchases continues the trend of rising demand from foreign buyers since the 2016 EU referendum, before which\u00a0<\/span>foreign buyers<\/span>\u00a0bought only 40<\/span>\u00a0per cent\u00a0<\/span>of homes<\/span>.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

New research produced by Hamptons International indicates that the number of overseas buyers in the capital is at its highest level since 2013.\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The data<\/span>\u00a0reveal<\/span>s that the percentage of EU buyers in central London stands at 19 per cent.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>European buyers now outnumber those from the Middle East,\u00a0<\/span>from\u00a0<\/span>where the level of buyers has declined to 8 per cent compared with\u00a0<\/span>15 per cent in 2017.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aneisha<\/span>\u00a0Beveridge, H<\/span>ead of research at Hamptons, said: \u201c<\/span>Undeterred by any Brexit uncertainty, international buyers are looking to take advantage of a weaker pound and seeing now as a good\u00a0<\/span>time and\u00a0<\/span>opportunity to buy\u00a0<\/span>homes\u00a0<\/span>across central London.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

New housing stock at sensible prices<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
