A new research has revealed that the majority of landlords and tenants in Britain have a good relationship.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When asked in a survey from landlord insurer Direct Line for Business<\/a> about the most important things in a relationship with their landlord<\/a>, tenants said they wanted them to respond quickly, set a reasonable rent and draw up fair tenancy agreements.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the survey also suggests the idea landlords and tenants don\u2019t see eye to eye is nothing but a myth as 69% of landlords surveyed explained they had a good relationship with their tenants<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One third of landlords said they think they are good friends with their tenants<\/a> and only 2% stated they had a poor relationship with their tenants.<\/p>\n

However, 15% of landlords also said they had no communication whatsoever with their tenants as all interactions were organised by a management or lettings agent.<\/p>\n

Landlords seem just as confident about the future of their rental property<\/a> and the country\u2019s market. A total of 76% said they were confident they could rent out their property if their current tenants decided to move out within the next six months with 27% being very confident there would be no void period, meaning they wouldn\u2019t miss out on any rental income.<\/p>\n
