The beautiful home sold for \u00a311.25 million.<\/p>\n<p>At the other end of the spectrum was a terraced home in Blyth, in Northumberland, and a flat in Weymuoth, Dorset, with each of them selling for \u00a310,000.<\/p>\n<p>And whilst the prices vary quite dramatically, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/05\/01\/uk-homeowners-thinking-remortgaging\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">homeowners across England and Wales<\/a> expect property prices to continue their increase over the six months to come.<\/p>\n<p>As a new Zoopla study has revealed, 87% of respondents are confident <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/06\/manchester-property-prices-will-grow-28-2\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">property prices will continue to grow<\/a>. This number indicates an increase by 4% from October last year, but also a drop from the 92% recorded twelve months ago.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"QQWcKG0jQC\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/05\/10\/uk-house-prices-lead-general-election\/\">UK house prices in the lead-up to the General Election<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;UK house prices in the lead-up to the General Election&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/05\/10\/uk-house-prices-lead-general-election\/embed\/#?secret=04hOqS0ff9#?secret=QQWcKG0jQC\" data-secret=\"QQWcKG0jQC\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>When it comes to investing money, only 18% of homeowners stated that they were making plans to buy a property over the next six months. On a regional level, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/01\/26\/property-investment-england-focus-east-england\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">England\u2019s East<\/a> are the most confident in a rise in property value, with 89% of respondents expecting the increase to continue over the next six months to come.<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence Hall, Zoopla\u2019s spokesperson, stated:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite a continued period of political uncertainty, it\u2019s encouraging to see a rise in confidence for property price growth. However, despite this, we can\u2019t ignore that there\u2019s been a rise in reluctance to buy and sell properties.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWith the upcoming general election, it\u2019s perhaps no surprise that people may be holding out to make a purchase or sale decision until <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/04\/25\/theresa-mays-general-election-will-impact-investor\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">after the election on 08 June<\/a>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 2017 saw 96,500 residential and commercial land and property sales lodged with the Land Registry in England and Wales.
