{"id":2983,"date":"2017-07-03T07:00:46","date_gmt":"2017-07-03T06:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.buyassociation.co.uk\/?p=2983"},"modified":"2017-07-03T07:00:46","modified_gmt":"2017-07-03T06:00:46","slug":"uks-mortgage-market-changing-right-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-hk\/2017\/07\/03\/uks-mortgage-market-changing-right-now\/","title":{"rendered":"How the UK\u2019s mortgage market is changing right now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Digital change is significantly impacting on the way consumers see the mortgage market and what they expect the process of buying and owning a home to be like, new research revealed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technology has the potential to change the country\u2019s mortgage market through making lenders more flexible and enhancing competitiveness across the sector, a report by the Council for Mortgage Lenders (CML) stated.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"Dc2Nc1Y3bX\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/06\/05\/rate-successful-uk-mortgage-application-intermediaries\/\">Rate of successful UK mortgage application through intermediaries up<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Rate of successful UK mortgage application through intermediaries up&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/06\/05\/rate-successful-uk-mortgage-application-intermediaries\/embed\/#?secret=1CDXnkzGbr#?secret=Dc2Nc1Y3bX\" data-secret=\"Dc2Nc1Y3bX\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The study showed that 84% of respondents believe technology could improve customer experience and relationships whilst 76% believe it could improve their own operational capabilities and 68% hope it could put customers in better control.<\/p>\n<p>The mortgage market is changing rapidly at the moment, due to apps in which customers can manage and arrange their mortgages to digital property searches and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/04\/27\/proptech-2017-whats-next\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">potential of technology<\/a> to deliver automated decision making.<\/p>\n<p>However, the research also points out that this evolvement comes with issues as it sits in a market whose customers value advice for complex products and being able to ask questions directly.<\/p>\n<p>Lenders have noticed the shift and are investing heavily in order to give customers the best technological experience possible.
