{"id":2942,"date":"2017-06-23T07:00:22","date_gmt":"2017-06-23T06:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.buyassociation.co.uk\/?p=2942"},"modified":"2017-06-23T07:00:22","modified_gmt":"2017-06-23T06:00:22","slug":"promising-outlook-singapore-stocks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-hk\/2017\/06\/23\/promising-outlook-singapore-stocks\/","title":{"rendered":"Promising outlook for Singapore stocks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Singapore property stocks are on the up thanks to the recent easing of buying restrictions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Singapore government sparked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/04\/14\/singapore-prices-predicted-surge\/\" target>renewed interest in its property market<\/a> after it relaxed buying curbs back in March once the sluggish market had begun to pick up momentum once again.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"YrpIf3CG10\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/15\/singapore-relaxes-cooling-measures\/\">Singapore relaxes cooling measures<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Singapore relaxes cooling measures&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/15\/singapore-relaxes-cooling-measures\/embed\/#?secret=Rfs2RS0loV#?secret=YrpIf3CG10\" data-secret=\"YrpIf3CG10\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It is now predicted that the county\u2019s property market will have the best annual performance in five years, and that the upward curve will continue on.<\/p>\n<p>Property stocks, including City Developments and UOL Group, are already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/01\/23\/prices-set-rise-singapore\/\" target>reporting gains<\/a>, with developers and property trusts making up half of the ten best-performing stocks on the Straits Times Index.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Prices are moving upwards again, albeit in a more gradual direction, [and] market interest is more positive in terms of transactions,&#8221; commented Andrew Gillan, head of equities for Asia, excluding Japan, at Janus Henderson Group. &#8220;That&#8217;s going to bode relatively well for earnings,&#8221; he added, in reference to those developers that purchased land for reasonable costs during the downturn. <\/p>\n<p>However there are still some concerns regarding the recovery of the Singapore property market, as recent figures released by the Singapore government reported that sales decreased by 34% in May.
