Which, according to research, is what especially families are looking for.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"QTJCARN8xR\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/20\/tenants-afraid-losing-homes\/\">Tenants are afraid of losing their homes<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Tenants are afraid of losing their homes&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/20\/tenants-afraid-losing-homes\/embed\/#?secret=HSJ4Ta2hJT#?secret=QTJCARN8xR\" data-secret=\"QTJCARN8xR\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A total number of 20 of the sector\u2019s most active investors and developers signed the pledge as a response to the Government\u2019s recently published <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/07\/britains-housing-white-paper-revealed-explained\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Housing White Paper<\/a>. In the paper, Housing Minister Garvin Barwell explicitly asks for this new generation of purpose built, professionally managed rented homes. They are meant to offer family friendly, long-term tenancies to create more stability for those renting their home.<\/p>\n<p>The BPF\u2019s pledge is basically a demonstration of the sector\u2019s commitment to work with the Government to create something more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/02\/22\/7-surprising-things-that-tenants-would-be-happy-to-pay-more-for\/\">enjoyable for every tenant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The pledge says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cOne of the benefits of the UK\u2019s new Build to Rent sector is its ability to offer longer tenancies to its customers. We, the undersigned, therefore pledge to offer our customers the option of a three year tenancy in any of our new Build to Rent buildings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur customers will not be under any compulsion to take up this three year tenancy option, and can still opt for shorter terms. To further assist customers with their budgeting, we pledge to review rents no more frequently than once a year or at the end of the initial term, and to set out clearly at the start of the tenancy the basis on which rents will be reviewed.
