Asking prices leap to near-record high<\/h3>\n

“Property price tags are on their way to a \u201cnear-record\u201d high as spring sales point to a rebounding market.<\/p>\n

The average asking price of a property coming to the market for sale is now just \u00a3570 short of last year\u2019s May\u00a0record of \u00a3372,894, while annual price growth now sits at 1.7% \u2013 its highest level for 12 months, according to property portal Rightmove.<\/p>\n
