Following an 18 month trial in Cardiff,<\/span>\u00a0Wales,<\/span>\u00a0a<\/span>\u00a0new sales progression tool\u00a0<\/span>has\u00a0<\/span>just\u00a0<\/span>launched\u00a0<\/span>across the UK<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Developed by\u00a0<\/span><\/b>proptech<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>m<\/span><\/b>io<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0has already\u00a0<\/span><\/b>helped\u00a0<\/span><\/b>over 50% of residential property sales t<\/span><\/b>o complete successfully<\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

From\u00a0<\/span>this week,\u00a0<\/span>mio<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0already partnered with software provider\u00a0<\/span>Reapit<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>and\u00a0<\/span>Relocation Agent Network,<\/span><\/i>\u00a0is offering a free six month trial across\u00a0<\/span>the UK.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The aim of the new software application is to continue to reduce the number of transactions that fall through and to reduce the total time a property sale takes to complete.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On average the UK\u2019s fall through rate stands at 33%, but\u00a0<\/span><\/b>the implementation of\u00a0<\/span><\/b>mio<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>by agents in Cardiff\u00a0<\/span><\/b>claims\u00a0<\/span><\/b>this figures has been reduced t<\/span><\/b>o 21%<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Mio also reports that across the Cardiff agent community evaluated between September 2017 and April 2019, the average time for a property to sell has speeded up by over a month.\u00a0 On average,\u00a0<\/span>mio<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>property sales are takin<\/span>g<\/span>\u00a085 days compared to 126<\/span>\u00a0days respectively<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

S<\/span>enior sales manager\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>mio<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>user, Rachel Jones from estate agent<\/span>\u00a0Peter Alan, said: \u201c<\/span>Mio<\/span><\/i>\u00a0has been very useful on a day-to-day basis for progressing property transactions, as we can easily see where information is missing or milestones need to be updated \u2013 and pick up the phone immediately to the right person.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span><\/b>Overall,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>mio<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0has helped to tighten our business processes and reduce the time it takes for a sale to go through.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>It makes sales progression a lot easier for us<\/span><\/b>,<\/span><\/b>\u201d<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Rachel Jones added.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

The most consistent\u00a0<\/span>customer\u00a0<\/span>comp<\/span>laint listed in the<\/span>\u00a0Property Ombudsman\u2019s\u202f<\/span>2018 is estate agents failing to communicate and contributes largely to why buyers withdraw from a purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n
