{"id":3129,"date":"2017-08-03T14:00:27","date_gmt":"2017-08-03T13:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.buyassociation.co.uk\/?p=3129"},"modified":"2023-09-29T22:20:42","modified_gmt":"2023-09-29T21:20:42","slug":"first-time-buyers-can-still-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/news\/first-time-buyers-can-still-home\/","title":{"rendered":"This is where first-time buyers can still own a home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A new research says Nottingham, Southampton and Norwich are three of the most affordable places for those looking to buy their first property.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The report was put together by Post Office Money and revealed that Southampton is the most affordable place in the UK right now with an average property price of \u00a3199,074 and an overall property affordability of 98%.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"MHvKHFkvIl\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/07\/03\/first-time-buyers-still-struggling-get-first-home\/\">First time buyers still struggling to get first home<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;First time buyers still struggling to get first home&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/07\/03\/first-time-buyers-still-struggling-get-first-home\/embed\/#?secret=R5NT4MAQmi#?secret=MHvKHFkvIl\" data-secret=\"MHvKHFkvIl\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The bigger surprise was that the study didn\u2019t name London as the least affordable place to live, as Brighton ranked even worse, with an average property price of \u00a3352,303.<\/p>\n<p>The report also showed that for many first-time buyers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/11\/20\/fastest-place-to-sell-property-in-uk-not-london\/\">compromise is the key<\/a> to finally securing their new home.
