Well, right now might be a pretty good time!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Whilst many adopted a \u201cwait and see\u201d approach to property buying in the lead up to the election, now might be the perfect time to reap the rewards that came with that mentality.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/02\/uk-regional-rental-prices-north-west-leading-way-yield-demand\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Demand for homes<\/a>, house prices and enquiries from new buyers declined during the last month whilst new instruction from sellers were also rare to find, the latest residential market analysis by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) revealed.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"nTeHFpcI6V\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/05\/02\/demand-investors-uk-property-rise-rics-says\/\">Demand from Investors for UK Property is on the rise, RICS says<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Demand from Investors for UK Property is on the rise, RICS says&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/05\/02\/demand-investors-uk-property-rise-rics-says\/embed\/#?secret=262cyqfLt9#?secret=nTeHFpcI6V\" data-secret=\"nTeHFpcI6V\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Whilst the report focused on London, the overall sentiment could be felt across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Rics\u2019 chief economist, Simon Rubinsohn, commented: \u201cAlthough the latest survey suggests that uncertainty related to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/05\/15\/general-election-2017-can-theresa-may-actually-generation-rent\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">General Election<\/a> may have contributed to what appears to have been a disappointing level of transactions in the housing market over the spring, perhaps the most ominous signal emanating from the data released today is that contributors still expect house prices to increase at a faster pace than wages over the medium term despite the difficulty many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/09\/buy-london-first-time-buyers\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">first time buyers<\/a> are clearly having in taking their first steps onto the property ladder.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe increasingly tight second hand market remains a cause for concern with the Rics series tracking new instructions to agents recording its fifteenth successive negative reading. It is hard to see this as anything other a major obstacle to the efficient functioning of the housing market.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Brian Murphy, head of lending at Mortgage Advice Bureau, also commented the results. He explained that the \u201cwait and see\u201d approach many buyers and sellers show is a reasonable reaction to the many political changes that happened this year. Which makes now the perfect time to invest, before everyone else.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Certainly, this would also appear to be the view of many respondents to the RICS survey, with over a quarter expecting to see an increase in activity in the second half of 2017.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whilst many adopted a \u201cwait and see\u201d approach to property buying in the lead up to the election, now might be the perfect time to reap the rewards that came with that mentality.
