This is where you should be looking."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>After a decade of planning and building, the first trains will run on the Elizabeth Line on the Crossrail network this month.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, the line won\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/01\/18\/commuter-town-pays-for-season-ticket-in-days\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">only be beneficial for commuters<\/a>, homeowners and property investors along the route also have something to celebrate: a rise in property values.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"xeOVnlzCWj\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/11\/04\/crossrail-boost-london-house-prices\/\">Crossrail to boost London house prices<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Crossrail to boost London house prices&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/11\/04\/crossrail-boost-london-house-prices\/embed\/#?secret=9wK54l2trl#?secret=xeOVnlzCWj\" data-secret=\"xeOVnlzCWj\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Emoov put together some statistics that show how much house prices have increased along the Crossrail route over the last ten years.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/16\/property-investment-england-focus-central-london\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">These are the areas<\/a> that saw the biggest increase:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Whitechapel: from \u00a3290,000 in 2007 to \u00a3750,000 in 2017 (159% increase)<\/li>\n<li>Paddington: from \u00a3769,000 in 2007 to \u00a31.76m in 2017 (129% increase)<\/li>\n<li>Liverpool Street: from \u00a3655,000 in 2007 to \u00a31.43m in 2017 (118% increase)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Not all is lost though, as there are still a couple of pockets where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/04\/24\/londons-property-prices-dropped-10000-last-12-months\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">price increases haven\u2019t been as dramatic yet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst house prices in <strong>Abbey Wood<\/strong> have increased by 91% over the last ten years, the current average for a home is still somewhat affordable at \u00a3385,000 (at least for London).<\/p>\n<p>Along similar lines, <strong>Harold Wood<\/strong> has seen a price increase of 71%, up to \u00a3376,000, which still makes it one of London\u2019s more affordable suburbs. <strong>West Drayton<\/strong> is another area that comes in at a similar price (\u00a3379,000) as property values have increased by 67% since 2007.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"oZnxvhOR3h\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/10\/13\/crossrails-impact-on-the-uks-house-prices\/\">Crossrail\u2019s impact on the UK\u2019s house prices<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Crossrail\u2019s impact on the UK\u2019s house prices&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/10\/13\/crossrails-impact-on-the-uks-house-prices\/embed\/#?secret=GlqtZnOH0R#?secret=oZnxvhOR3h\" data-secret=\"oZnxvhOR3h\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And finally, although maybe a little bit more noisy,<strong> Heathrow<\/strong> might be another possible option with average house prices of \u00a3314,000.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to the line as a whole, Emoov said prices had increased by 80%, compared to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/23\/broken-londons-house-prices-one-graph\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">rest of the capital<\/a> at 77%.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a decade of planning and building, the first trains will run on the Elizabeth Line on the Crossrail network this month.
