{"id":2441,"date":"2017-03-08T17:00:11","date_gmt":"2017-03-08T17:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.buyassociation.co.uk\/?p=2441"},"modified":"2017-03-08T17:00:11","modified_gmt":"2017-03-08T17:00:11","slug":"business-usual-uk-landlords","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/news\/business-usual-uk-landlords\/","title":{"rendered":"Business as usual for most of UK landlords"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Research by Simply Business has revealed that the majority of landlords aren\u2019t put off by changes recently made to the property investment market.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Whilst 48% of those questioned do think things are getting harder to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/01\/20\/nine-best-places-invest-in-property-revealed\/\" target>invest in property<\/a>, they don\u2019t intend to quit anytime soon.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"Ar6tQIXTSL\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/16\/manchester-salford-see-biggest-rise-rental-yields\/\">Manchester and Salford see biggest rise in rental yields<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Manchester and Salford see biggest rise in rental yields&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/16\/manchester-salford-see-biggest-rise-rental-yields\/embed\/#?secret=tuS1UlcBJv#?secret=Ar6tQIXTSL\" data-secret=\"Ar6tQIXTSL\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>An additional 12% think it\u2019s only possible to be a landlord in the UK if you\u2019re already established as some regulations, i.e. the changes to stamp duty, have made property investment more pricey from the start. <\/p>\n<p><strong>However, 22% of participants are certain of the positive developments of the country\u2019s property market and strongly believe in their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/07\/invest-build-rent-property-tenant-included\/\" target>bright property future<\/a>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Another 56% of landlords said they were feeling positive about 2017 and the buy-to-let market. <\/p>\n<p>And whilst the Government seems to be trying hard to make life a little bit more difficult for property investors, lenders on the other hand are also doing their bit to make the market more attractive again. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to that, those who actually stick it out and keep believing in Britain\u2019s property market may actually end up with less competition. With Generation Rent constantly growing and millennials being more reliant on their landlords, the relationship between tenant and owner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/20\/tenants-afraid-losing-homes\/\" target>has also changed<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Some might suggest tenants and landlords are turning the Private Rented Sector into one of dialogue and compromise. <strong>And with this, they\u2019re turning it into a healthy segment of the market that\u2019s here to stay. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Research by Simply Business has revealed that the majority of landlords aren\u2019t put off by changes recently made to the property investment market.
