Here\u2019s what property investors may be hoping for.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>The upcoming spring budget is a vital influencer on some decision future property investors may face. Considering the challenges ahead of the country weeks before the Brexit negotiations may kick off and the constantly rising house prices, experts feel like it\u2019s time for the Government to interfere. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"sKiAxr8MQz\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/07\/spring-budget-2017-expect-uks-property-market\/\">Spring Budget 2017: What to expect for the UK\u2019s property market<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;Spring Budget 2017: What to expect for the UK\u2019s property market&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/07\/spring-budget-2017-expect-uks-property-market\/embed\/#?secret=eEQGeJcRIs#?secret=sKiAxr8MQz\" data-secret=\"sKiAxr8MQz\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/07\/britains-housing-white-paper-revealed-explained\/\" target>Housing White Paper<\/a>, the Government did already acknowledge some of the difficulties Britain\u2019s property market is facing, what it however didn\u2019t do too much, is expand on the solutions. <\/p>\n<p>Many are hoping for the Chancellor to take on this role and clear up some of the unknowns. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What about Stamp Duty?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some experts have made the brave step forward and suggested a rather drastic change in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/11\/22\/brits-housing-theresa-may-bye-bye-stamp-duty-infographic\/\" target>how stamp duty is being charged<\/a>. Whilst the industry takes it for granted that buyers have to pay the fee, some believe we would be better off charging the seller. <\/p>\n<p>Considering that, for those who are selling their property to then either up- or downgrade, it wouldn\u2019t make a huge difference whether they were charged stamp duty as a seller or buyer. For first-time buyers, however, it\u2019d be a very different story. <\/p>\n<p>If the seller was charged stamp duty instead of the buyer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/09\/21\/price-shock-first-time-buyers\/\" target>first-time buyers<\/a> would experience a small relief when it comes to making the first step onto the property ladder. <\/p>\n<p>Possibly, a rather radical suggestion, but not completely out of the question. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Can we have more new builds?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s no secret that the UK is running far behind what they need when it comes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/03\/07\/invest-build-rent-property-tenant-included\/\" target>new built property<\/a>.
