Whilst some are saying the market is about to pick up, other see it heading down a dark rabbit hole. Let\u2019s have a look at the latest indications.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>London\u2019s property market is spiraling down<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since the Brexit vote last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/02\/london-drop-started-prime-sales-fall\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">London\u2019s market has had a rather rough time<\/a>. And although other places, like Manchester and Birmingham, are slowly picking up more and more investment interest, some investors still prefer London as an almost traditional safe haven.<\/p>\n<p>So whether London has actually seen the last of its glorious days or the capital is now just sharing the investor pie with some other competitors, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/01\/31\/investing-property-manchester-birmingham-liverpool-maybe-consider-airbnb\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">the Northern stars<\/a>, still remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>House sales take up to 10 months<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is no doubt that some properties will take some time to find a buyer. Whether that\u2019s to do with the demand or property or more with the location of the property and its asking price is the right question to ask.<\/p>\n<p>Since the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/01\/24\/will-brexit-turn-britain-investment-safe-haven\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">UK\u2019s decision to leave the EU<\/a>, the places which have performed better when it comes to property sales have all been supporters of the decision to leave. Others, though, may find it more useful to think in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/17\/2017-year-build-rent\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">build-to-rent and buy-to-let<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Taking the UK property market for what it is: a currently faulty system that doesn\u2019t take into account a massive slice of its members, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/01\/17\/propertys-condition-important-50-british-renters\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">those renting<\/a>, will get you closer to fixing the issue.
