Manchester\u2019s\u00a0mayor\u00a0Andy Burnham<\/a>\u00a0recently\u00a0unveiled the environmental proposals for crucial action,\u00a0including\u00a0a goal\u00a0for the city\u00a0to become carbon neutral by 2038.<\/p>\n On top of that,\u00a0Manchester<\/a>\u00a0aspires to become one of the cleanest and greenest cities\u00a0in the world.\u00a0The\u00a0environment\u00a0plan is also expected to boost the city\u2019s economy and prosperity.<\/p>\n A key part of the plan\u00a0includes\u00a0minimising carbon dioxide emissions and increasing renewable energy.\u00a0Homeowners, landlords, and investors in Manchester will be expected\u00a0to\u00a0switch to\u00a0green energy suppliers. Properties\u00a0will\u00a0also\u00a0need to have\u00a0the capability to be powered by renewable resources.<\/p>\n Excessive energy used\u00a0to heat homes and offices\u00a0is a big\u00a0contributor to carbon emissions.
