Vida\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Homeloans<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0are now offering an 85% loan-to-value (LTV) buy-to-let\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">mortgages<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and is one of the highest LTV products on the market. Vida joins both Kent\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Relian<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ce<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and Kensington Building Society\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">wh<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">i<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ch<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0both offer 85% LTV\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">buy-to-let mortgages.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2018\/04\/17\/borrowers-needing-higher-ltv-benefiting-lower-mortgage-rates\/\">Lower deposits<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">mean<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0that existing landlords can look to expand their portfolios without having to stump up the hefty 25% d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">own payment<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">However,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">as lower deposit mortgages carry more risk<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">higher interest rates<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0should be no surprise<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Both\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Vida<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and Kensington offer a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0two-year\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">fixed<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0rate of 4.49 per cent<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">with a \u00a31,995 product fee<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, and K<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ent Reliance<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2019s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0two-year deal\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">is fixed<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0at 5.19 per cent<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0with a 2.5% fee of the mortgage amount.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Opportunities to lock into <\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">low rates are available\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">future\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">economic uncertainty\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">continues to influence<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0lenders\u2019 view of\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the buy-to-let<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0market<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, landlords seeking to purchase or remortgage\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">might do well to take advantage of the myriad of choices currently available.\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">According to Moneyfacts<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Barclays has reduced rates across its buy-to-let purchase and remortgage range<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, including in a 1.79% fixed rate until April 2022 on a 75% LTV, with an incentive package. Another offering an incentive package is Yorkshire Building Society whose five-year fixed rate is available for 1.96% on a 75% LTV, with a free valuation and \u00a3500 cashback.\u00a0 Landlords looking to remortgage should take a look at Skipton Building Society and HSBC UK.
