This would be the result of more tenants chasing after fewer rental properties available on the market. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"JvA1YB9pBl\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/10\/05\/governments-buy-let-taxes-will-create-rental-supply-crisis-2025\/\">The Government\u2019s buy-to-let taxes will create a rental supply crisis by 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;The Government\u2019s buy-to-let taxes will create a rental supply crisis by 2025&#8221; &#8212; BuyAssociation Group\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/10\/05\/governments-buy-let-taxes-will-create-rental-supply-crisis-2025\/embed\/#?secret=rmY86IUdRu#?secret=JvA1YB9pBl\" data-secret=\"JvA1YB9pBl\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The main <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2016\/11\/30\/landlords-plan-rises-cover-additional-costs\/\" target>reason for landlords to possibly slow down<\/a> are the tax changes that have recently been made by the Government. <\/p>\n<p>The Rics survey was originally conducted before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/08\/10-things-sajid-javids-housing-white-paper-actually-told-us\/\" target>Sajid Javid revealed the Government\u2019s Housing White Paper<\/a>, and it seems like the paper picked up on a couple of the points. <\/p>\n<p>The BBC reports that Jeremy Blackburn, Rics head of policy, said that ministers had listened the the institution\u2019s point of view to give the private rental sector more priority alongside homeownership. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"lykuCoXGI8\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buyassociationgroup.com\/en-gb\/2017\/02\/02\/london-drop-started-prime-sales-fall\/\">Has the London drop started?
